Attorney
Abby Bakos approaches the practice of law with a clear sense of purpose: to do meaningful work, with intention, for people who value both.

She is known for being thoughtful, direct, and deeply engaged in the outcome of her cases. Clients come to her not just for legal answers, but for clarity- someone who can cut through noise, identify what actually matters, and guide decisions with both precision and perspective.

Her practice focuses on trusts and estates, real estate, and select civil rights litigation. Before founding her firm, Abby spent over a decade as a federal civil rights litigator and trial attorney, serving as lead counsel in high-stakes cases. That experience continues to shape how she practices today- strategic, prepared, and steady under pressure.

She brings that same level of discipline and attention to detail to her transactional work, advising clients on estate planning, trust structuring, and real estate matters with a focus on long-term clarity and practical decision-making. Her ability to move between litigation and transactional work allows her to see issues from multiple angles and anticipate problems before they arise.

Abby’s path to building her practice has not been conventional. It has been shaped by challenge, growth, and a refusal to accept anything less than a life built with intention. That perspective informs how she shows up for her clients- honest in her advice, fully present in the work, and committed to getting it right.

She values independence, clear communication, and relationships built on trust and respect. Clients who work with her can expect a lawyer who is not only capable, but genuinely invested- someone who will think critically, act deliberately, and stand behind the work she does.

Outside of the office, Abby is constantly evolving- whether through travel, personal growth, or pushing herself in new ways. She believes that strength is built over time, and that the best outcomes- both in life and in law- come from discipline, resilience, and a willingness to keep moving forward.”
